Omar Assidi is an Italian designer of Lebanese origin, whose multicultural identity shapes a unique aesthetic language that blends art, architecture, and fashion. From a young age, he developed a sensitivity to beauty, influenced by his grandmother and her passion for art. After studying in Lebanon, he moved to Milan and graduated in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni with top honors.
His career began in a prestigious design office in Milan that collaborated with major fashion houses. He quickly stood out for his ability to interpret fashion as a silent art, a fashion that doesn’t shout but is perceived through textures, patterns, lines, and an almost obsessive attention to detail.
He later became an independent consultant, strengthening his innovative and distinctive vision. His encounter with a french luxury menswear maison marked a turning point, where he designed 36 collections over 18 years, reinterpreting luxury with balance and elegance. He also collaborates with various other international brands and developed special projects for the Pirelli Formula One team and Team Italy for Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
After lending his artistry to other brands for more than 25 years, in 2024 he founded his own label, “ASSIDI”, launching his first collection for Fall/Winter 2025–2026, which embodies art, craftsmanship, and silent elegance. His creations are true poetic acts, already appreciated by a refined audience.
